Wifi Mesh Systems

we specialize in consulting, designing and deploying Wi-Fi Mesh Systems to provide seamless, reliable, and high-speed wireless connectivity across businesses, and large-scale facilities for outdoor connectivity needs.  Wi-Fi Mesh Systems are the ideal solution for overcoming connectivity challenges in an outdoor environment like a yard management system

How does a Wifi Mesh System Work?

Main Node(Root):

  • Connects directly to your modem to act as the primary gateway to the internet.

Secondary Nodes(Non-Root):

  • Placed strategically throughout your property to extend Wi-Fi coverage.
  • These nodes communicate with the main node and each other to deliver uninterrupted connectivity.

Seamless Hand-Offs:

  • Devices automatically connect to the strongest node as you move, ensuring smooth transitions without dropped connections.
  • It is a primary gateway but you typically do not want no more than three "hops" to your root due to losing half of your throughput for every hop that is made in your Mesh System

Frequency Spectrum:

  • 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are the two most commonly used frequencies when providing seamless connectivity and efficient communication between devices
  • 2.4 GHz provides a much wider coverage than 5 GHz and is used for devices farther from the router or for access points that prioritize coverage over speed.
  • 5 GHz does not have as wide of a coverage as 2.4 GHz but it does offer much faster data rates and is typically used for high-speed communication between devices and as the backhaul for mesh nodes to ensure optimal performance.

Backhaul Link:

  • The connection between nodes, either wireless (using a dedicated frequency band) or wired (Ethernet).
  • Ensures efficient data transfer and avoids overloading the main network.

Client Devices:

  • Devices like smartphones, laptops, and smart home gadgets connect to the nearest node for the strongest and fastest connection
